Production and post production for commercials, films, and new media
Amazing quality; true team players; completely dedicated to the success of your project. We’ve done a number of commercials with Halflife and they really elevated each project they touch. Quality is comparable to many NY or LA production facilities, but much more affordable.
Production audio
Alex was a real pro on our recent short film THE HIKE — great attitude and a willingness to help with all aspects of the production. His boom op Adam Yancey, although new to that position, also did a great job. (Adam is an accomplished art director BTW).
Producer
Fritz was invaluable in getting THE HIKE off the ground. He was conscientious and detail-oriented throughout the pre-production and production process.
Robert Johnston
UPM
Although we only had Robert for a few days on set, his presence was the epitome of professionalism. Looking forward to working with him much more in the future.
VFX
Brad runs Swardson Studios and does high-end visual effects for films as well as for corporate clients like Boeing and the University of New Mexico. He is doing some amazing 3D modelling for THE HIKE. The scene he just finished looks like it was from a $100MM special effects movie.
VFX

Kevin has a BFA in visual effects and animation and was recommended by Dave Garcia at Halflife. He just finished a very difficult composite for THE HIKE and now is helping on multiple VFX shots for us. Great work; great attitude. Highly recommended.

Sound/Music

Although new to location sound, Chris did a fantastic job in a high-pressure situation (the 48 Hour Film Project). He’s a gifted composer and multimedia artist as well.

Make-Up

Gretchen is an in-demand industry pro who has worked on numerous feature films, including MacGruber, Did You Hear About the Morgans, Mall Cop — and many more. She was gracious enough to help us out on our 48 Hour Film Project “JANE BACKER” and did a superb job making all the actors look good — almost instantly.
